Online Reservations

All bookings are made by vehicle type that you choose.

Driver

Minimum age of 23 years for the use of cars A, B, C, D and 25 years for the rest of the car categories.

Driving license

A valid driving license is required for the Greek territory and for the E.U,issued at least 1 year before the lease commences. Citizens of non-E.U. countries are required to have an international driving license , along with a national driving license.

Traffic Tickets – Fines

Traffic tickets and fines resulting from violations of the Traffic Code are charged to the Renter . The Renter also undertakes the payment of management costs.

Means of payment

The Renter is required to provide a credit card as security for the rental, even if the payment is made in cash. Rent is prepaid.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be canceled at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled date and time of the vehicle’s rental (always in accordance with the exact time of booking) as this made in the company’s booking system. If you wish to cancel a reservation, you will contact the company via mail.

The following charges will apply for booking cancellations:

  • In case of a cancellation notice received by Messolonghi Rentals at least 5 days prior to the scheduled rental of the vehicle, any amount paid in advance will be refunded.
  • In case of a cancellation notice received by Messolonghi Rentals less than 5 days  prior to the scheduled commencement of the vehicle’s rental , shall be no refund of any amount that may have been prepaid.

Deliveries – Collections after opening hours

Customer extra charge 23€.

Deliveries – Collections out of stations

Deliveries and collections out of stations  are made upon customer’s request, for the cost of charge please contact us via email. The charge for  deliveries within the town  is 14€ inclusive VAT.

Additional Driver

The charge for each additional driver is 8€/day. The maximum number of drivers is 2 persons and the maximum charge is 40€/rental.

Kid’s car seat

Kid’s car seat fee is set at 5€/day with a maximum charge of 25€/rental.

Navigation System (GPS)

Charges for GPS are set at 7€/day, upon customer’s request and company availability, with a maximum charge of 50€/rental.

Fuel

The Renter must return the car with the same quantity of fuel as received. In case of returning the car with a smaller quantity of fuel than the initial (i.e. the amount of fuel the customer received from the vehicle) the customer will be charged for the difference in fuel.. Vehicles are delivered with a minimum of fuel corresponding to ¼ of the tank.

Kilometers

For rentals longer than 3 days, free kilometers are provided. For rentals of less than 3 days, rates include a 100km/day limit. In the latter case, if the Renter wishes to cover free kilometers then he can choose the free mileage package according to the respective price list. Otherwise the customer will be charged 10€ inclusive VAT per rental day upon return of the vehicle.

Accident

In case of an accident the customer is charged 15€ for the costs of managing the accident file.
